Perks & More (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a mobile application (the “App”) that lets employees of participating companies discover and redeem discounts and offers from partner merchants. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: your name, work email address, employee ID, company/department, job title, and profile photo.
Usage information: the offers you view, save, and redeem, your redemption history, and your interactions within the App.
Location information: with your permission, your approximate or precise location, used to show nearby merchants and offers.
Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and push-notification tokens.
Information you provide directly: messages sent to support, feedback, and any information you choose to add to your profile.
3. How We Use Your Information
• To create and manage your account and verify your eligibility as an employee of a participating company.
• To show you relevant offers, including offers near your location.
• To process and verify offer redemptions with merchants.
• To send you service notifications, offer alerts, and updates (you can manage notification preferences in the App).
• To monitor, maintain, and improve the App’s performance and security.
• To respond to your support requests and communicate with you.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
• Participating merchants — limited information needed to verify and process an offer redemption (e.g. your name or a redemption code), never your full profile.
• Your employer/company administrator — aggregated or redemption-related data needed to manage the corporate perks program.
• Service providers — companies that help us operate the App (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, push notifications, customer support tools), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and safety reasons — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Perks & More, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Location Data
Location access is optional and used only to show you nearby merchants and offers and to power the map view. You can enable or disable location permissions at any time from your device settings; some location-based features will not work if disabled.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App’s services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication — to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most of your profile information directly in the App under Account Settings, manage notification and location permissions from your device settings, or contact us using the details below to exercise your rights, including requesting deletion of your account and associated data.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for use by employees of participating companies and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the “Last updated” date below and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App.
